Our clients loved their Emery Roth-designed Art Deco apartment, but found the 1920s layout slightly antiquated. Our task was to reimagine the apartment with a lighter, more open design while preserving as much of the original character as possible. The scope of the project included the restoration of several key architectural features, the enlargement and redesign of the kitchen, the gut renovation of all three bathrooms, the relocation of critical service elements, and new custom millwork, doors, and surface treatments.

Client Testimonial:

“How do we love thee?

Let us count the ways...

Hi friends!

In between practicing the guitar in front of the roaring fire in our living room, and walking into our glorious kitchen to refill my coffee, I decided to pause and write you guys an email to try and make at least some kind of an attempt to express to the three of you just how much we love this apartment.

Not only did all three of you hit a home run, you hit a grand slam in the bottom of the 9th at Yankee Stadium, (with no steroids whatsoever!) and the ball flew over the parking lot and landed miraculously in the glove of an unsuspecting six-year-old boy who was walking into his first baseball game with his dad,  giving him the greatest memory of his life.
That's how much we love this apartment.
Not even...
More than that.. way more.

Thank you

With gratitude”
